I gave birth to my second daughter last February 9th, so last January was a long, difficult month, but resulted in a perfect 9.3 lb baby girl (and fyi my first was 10.4!). Worth the wait, the discomfort, and the long healing process that comes after giving birth. Your class couldn't have entered my life at a more perfect time. 11 months had passed and I finally felt ready to push myself past my comfort zone and into finding the strength I had before having children. My hip flexors and upper back have been weakened and strained for years, and I needed a kick start to prove that I still have it in me not just to lose baby weight, but more importantly, to feel strong again. From the very first class to the last Friday morning class in the 4th week, I was excited and motivated to get up at 5:30 (sacrificing precious sleep) and sweat it out with a dozen or so other fabulous women. ​Since starting the boot camp 3 weeks ago, I have lost 8.5 pounds and several inches, including 3" off my waist. The workouts are challenging and are completely different every day. There is a great mix of cardio and strength training and every day I leave boot camp feeling a sense of accomplishment. BOOT CAMP IS A TERM THAT EMBODIES MANY DIFFERENT MEANINGS. THIS PROGRAM IS IN FACT SMALL GROUP TRAINING. WE UTILIZE VARIOUS TECHNIQUES AND EQUIPMENT, IT IS NOT JUST CARDIO AND DRILLS. 

ALSO, BOOT CAMPS ARE GENERALLY OUTSIDE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MOST DON'T HAVE AN INDOOR SPACE TO PERFORM THESE CLASSES. THEY USUALLY RELY ON BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES AND MINIMAL EQUIPMENT BECAUSE THEY ARE USUALLY OUTSIDE.

THIS PROGRAM IS INSIDE DURING THE WINTER AND PART OF THE WARMER MONTHS. WE ACCOMPANY VARIOUS FITNESS LEVELS AND TAILOR IT TO THE INDIVIDUALS NEEDS. A VARIETY OF EQUIPMENT IS USED SO EVERYONE CAN EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT WAYS TO TRAIN.
